A journey with Sacred Vibration
Traditional Shipibo Icaro's to let the Goddess of the Forest Flow trough you and heal, embrace, and be Love. Receiving treatment from an indigenous Peruvian shaman, or curandero, is an opportunity to discover, empower, and motivate our true selves to achieve our highest goals of health, harmony, and happiness. You are able to connect deeply to your spirit in a nourishing and safe environment,
In the Shipibo culture, shamans—called curanderos—work as plant-based healers of physical, mental, and spiritual ailments. Their knowledge is said to come from plants themselves; this means that shamans recognise another person’s metaphysical blockages through the use of plant medicine and understand the healing nature of these medicinal plants through a strict diet, helping them to observe people across distances, uncover clues about mysterious circumstances, and commune directly with the spirits of nature.
Cacao Ceremony
To open the heart, set intention and connect deeper within, you have the option to start this retreat by participating in a cacao ceremony. Cacao plant is known to open the heart space and open you up to the wild woman within.
Master Plant Ceremony
The master plant ceremony is one of the most powerful inner journey experiences one can take, let the mother take you on a deep soul journey. To discover and release what is no longer serving you, to ultimately become your higher self. The traditional Shipibo ceremonies are lead by Icaros, sung by the shaman.
Integration Workshop
The ceremonies are the beginning of your journey, the real work starts when you go home. Back to your "normal" life, yet so much has shifted inside of you... We wish to provide you with the tools and learnings to guide you through your integration process and support where needed.
The Facilitators
Soila Picota Vargas
Soila or "Mamá Soila" or "La Chamanquita", coming from the Shipibo Miraya's, Soila is in charge of the medicinal baths and daily rituals, especially those with the master sticks, since Mama Soila is an excellent palera teacher. A “palero” is a shaman who has specialized in the knowledge of master trees or master sticks, whose barks are used for some of the most powerful plant medicines, and is one of the most demanding specialties, which requires years of hard training. Mama Soila is also very much appreciated as a counselor.
